You earn 30% of what your referred customer actually pays Toran — first payment and every renewal after it. It recurs for the life of their subscription, not a one-time signup bounty and not switched off after a year.

One thing we keep honest
The 30% is a partner payout — it's what we pay YOU, for as long as the customer you sent keeps paying us. It is not a "lifetime deal" or a locked-forever price for your customer. Toran doesn't do those. You earn the recurring share; your customer pays Toran's normal price.

How attribution works
Your code at checkout
We mint you a unique coupon code in Paddle (our billing provider). Your referral types it in at checkout, the sale is tagged to your code, and it can also carry a small welcome discount for them — a nudge that helps your referrals convert. Every payment on that subscription is then attributed to you.
Your referral link
Prefer a link? Share your referral link (it carries ?ref=your-code). We record your code on their signup, so the referral is credited to you even when no coupon is used — for 90 days after they first click.
How you get paid
Payouts are monthly and handled by the founder directly. Each month we reconcile the payments your referrals made in Paddle and pay you your share of the month before. We're a bootstrapped, pre-launch company, so commissions are paid from real revenue as it comes in — and we'll always tell you plainly where things stand.

Frequently asked questions
How long do I earn on a referral?
For as long as the customer keeps paying. The 30% recurs on every payment for the life of their subscription — there's no 360-day cap. If they cancel, the recurring share simply stops with them.
When and how do I get paid?
Monthly, by the founder directly, via PayPal or Wise. We reconcile Paddle each month and pay your share of the prior month once your balance clears a small agreed minimum. Transfer and currency-conversion fees are deducted from the payout (shown as a line item), and every payout comes with a commission statement we issue on your behalf — no invoicing paperwork on your side, ever. You're responsible for your own income taxes. Payouts come from real revenue — we're bootstrapped and pre-launch, and honest about that.
Is the 30% a discount for my customer?
No — the 30% is what we pay you. Your customer pays Toran's normal price. Your coupon code can optionally carry a small welcome discount for them, but that's separate from your commission.
Do you have a partner dashboard?
Not in v1. We run the program by hand and send you a simple monthly statement of your referrals and earnings. A self-serve dashboard may come later; for now the trade-off is a real person setting you up and answering directly.
What if a referral refunds or charges back?
Commission is only on payments that stick. If a referred payment is refunded or charged back, that commission is reversed from your balance. Everything that stays paid, stays yours — every month it renews.
What exactly does the 30% apply to?
The payment your referred customer makes, excluding sales tax or VAT (which the payment provider collects and remits — it never reaches us or you). If their payment carries a discount, your 30% is of what they actually pay. Simple rule: we share the revenue we really receive.
Can I refer myself or my own company?
No — self-referrals don't earn commission. The program pays for bringing us customers we wouldn't have met, not for discounting your own subscription; your own accounts and your company's accounts are excluded at the monthly reconcile. Payouts also unlock once you have three distinct paying customers (your balance accrues from the first one — it just pays out from the third). Gaming the program voids accrued commissions.
Can my earned balance expire?
Not while you're active. Once a year, any balance of $5 or more pays out regardless of the usual minimum — as long as you have at least one active referred customer, your earnings never silently expire. Only if you've had zero active referred customers for twelve straight months does the partnership close: we email you 30 days ahead, pay anything payable, and any small remainder below the minimum then lapses.
